You'll find immediate access to hiking, mountain biking, bird or wildlife watching, and skiing as well.The cabin is secluded, yet only a mile to downtown Greer and historic dining establishments. Sunrise Ski Park is approximately 16 miles from Acorn Lodge.
The nearby communities of Springerville, Eagar, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Show Low offer many restaurant and shopping options as well as hiking, biking, festivals, and other events. If you prefer, relax and enjoy the wildlife viewing from Acorn's massive wrap around deck—elk, antelope, deer, fox and various birds are just a few of what have been spotted on the property.

Upstairs are an additional two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and a terrific loft entertainment area includes a 70 inch smart TV, and sleeper sofa.

Summary: This was our 2nd time at Acorn Lodge and our stay was excellent again. The cabin is well equipped and the owners (Laura & Doug) have added some unique touches such as the phone chargers next to every bed. The Christmas tree and all the lights and decorations make it a special stay during the holidays. Overall this property is highly recommended and we will definitely be back !!

Summary: This was our second time staying at Acorn Lodge and it is truly the best property in Greer. Very well stocked with cooking supplies and everything you need away from home. Laura and Doug are very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Perfect for a dog as well as the patio is fully enclosed.
